PRP treatment (vampire facelift)

PRP stands for "Platelet Rich Plasma".

This treatment is suitable, among other things, for rejuvenation, improving skin texture, and reducing wrinkle depth on the face, neck, décolleté, or hands. For thinning hair (hair loss), autologous blood therapy is also an effective treatment method for both men and women.

In the so-called vampire facelift or PRP therapy (platelet-rich plasma), the patient's own blood is drawn and specially processed. The resulting platelet-rich plasma contains a high concentration of important growth factors. This plasma is then injected in small amounts under the skin, where it has a regenerative effect on the skin and hair follicles.

The advantages of PRP therapy are:

  • No allergies or intolerances (uses the body's own substances)

  • Relatively short treatment duration

  • Natural-looking results

  • Short recovery time/quick return to social life
  • No extensive aftercare required

Important information about the treatment:

- Medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, volaren and similar medications should no longer be taken at least 3 days beforehand.

- Treatment duration approx. 45 min - virtually painless (blood draw, vein, injections) - very few side effects, as the body's own material is used - visual signs of the treatment (e.g., redness) disappear after a few days - repeat treatment is strongly recommended (at least 3 times, ideally 5 times)
