Treatments with hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in all of us, as it's a substance produced by the body that binds water, keeping our skin looking fresh and firm. With each passing year, our bodies produce less hyaluronic acid, leading to less hydration, loss of elasticity and volume, and ultimately, the formation of wrinkles.
Wrinkle filling with hyaluronic acid is one of the most frequently used minimally invasive treatments in aesthetic medicine. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture and is a natural component of human skin. The goal of wrinkle filling with hyaluronic acid is to make the skin appear fresher. This treatment can plump up the tissue beneath the wrinkles.
Dermal fillers are medical devices, and I exclusively use CE-certified, high-quality products. The fillers used differ in their hyaluronic acid content and degree of cross-linking. The specific filler used depends on individual factors (e.g., age, wrinkle depth) and the area being treated.
The backs of the hands, the neck and the décolleté can also be treated effectively with hyaluronic acid.
Types of fillers and treatment areas on the face
The fillers used differ in terms of their hyaluronic acid content, e.g. 20mg, or their degree of cross-linking (low, high, very high).
Which filler is used depends, among other things, on individual factors (e.g. age, wrinkle depth) and the area to be treated.
