Fat-dissolving injection (injection lipolysis)
Injection lipolysis is a minimally invasive treatment suitable for reducing small fat deposits in specific areas.
Injection lipolysis is a minimally invasive treatment that targets fat deposits on the body and face. A special active ingredient is injected into the fatty tissue, stimulating the breakdown of fat cells in the treated area. The remnants of the fat cells are then broken down by the liver and partially excreted via the kidneys. Injection lipolysis is recommended for areas of the body where fat deposits tend to accumulate regardless of diet and exercise. These include typical problem areas such as a double chin, saddlebags on the thighs, and small fat deposits on the abdomen or hips. Injection lipolysis is not a substitute for a healthy diet or exercise.

The effects begin shortly after the injection, but the entire process takes several weeks. The injection triggers, among other things, an artificial inflammation, which also tightens the skin. To achieve optimal results, at least three treatments (depending on the area, up to six treatments) are necessary, administered at intervals of 3 to 6 weeks.

Side effects include skin irritation such as redness and swelling, as well as temporary sensitivity at the injection site. The swelling and inflammation that occur immediately after treatment are actually desirable – they help break down the fat cells and also tighten the skin.
Treatment can also be performed for lipomas and cellulite.
